What to do when you reach to Delhi? For ICCR scholars it is easier than self-finance students. When ICCR students reach Delhi International Air port; someone from ICCCR office will be waiting for them. He will collect all the students and place them to a guest house or International Youth Hostel. When they are placed, immediately tomorrow of that day they will ask the scholars to come to ICCR office for collection of their 3 months payment and admission/introductions letter to the respective university where he/she has been given admission. After doing all this, the students will be left to go to their respective university where they had selected the day when they were in Afghanistan. Departure from Delhi may be by train, bus or plane, anyone which suits you and your pocket…!!! ICCR officials will guide you. But the process differs for the self-finance students. Self-finance students have do all the above process by themselves, pay themselves, find the place to stay at night or if everything is prepared they can go for booking their tickets either by bus, train or plane. It is not out of benefit to be advised regarding place to stay during the night. The first place that you have to address the taxi drivers who are available just out of the terminal door is “International Youth Hostel” its address is as following: Chanakyapori, Nayaee Marg, near Malcha Marg, Behind Chinese Embassy or if you give the address of “Nizamuddin” also to taxi drivers, you can find many affordable guesthouses in Nizamuddin as well. But it is preferred to go to International Youth Hostel. It is advised for both self-finance and ICCR students to hurry to get to the city where they are supposed to study, because for police registration they only have one week time if it crossed one week, the student will be fined $ 30 US
