The regional office of Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR) in Pune had been established in 2007. The mentioned organization moreover of following the other affairs of ICCR’s scholars conducting some cultural and entertainment programs for students. In a program which hold on 30/11/2008 in S.M. Joshi auditorium in Pune Ustad Eltaf Hussein Sara hang had been invited and performed singing for afghan students. In the program Mr Mir Saifurrahman Rahim and his accompaniers came from our consulate. Also many Indians and some other foreigners contributed and enjoyed the program. Ustad Sarahang sung many songs in Hindi, Dari and Pushtu and people encouraged him and his group by shouting and clapping.

It was really a memorial and
unforgettable time for us that we had life concert of our own singer in our
own language, it made the students much energetic to tolerate more
struggles, activities and hard working for their education. We hope that we
have similar programs with our other singers as well.
